2022, A Year In My Life

When we quit limiting ourselves and open up to a world of possibilities, we'll soar. 2021 taught me that with grace, preparation and flexibility, anyone can progress in certain aspects of life; 2022 taught me that the world is laden with so much goodness but we need to explore and not merely exist.

In this article, I will write on a few areas of my life that I'm grateful for:

Relationship ‍

I made a couple of friends; I'll say travel buddies with who I explored some places and countries. I feel like the easiest way to bond with people is over activities and I stepped out to do that a lot more than I've ever done.

Writing

I slacked in this aspect; the zeal to write diminished in 2021 😞. I'm hoping to find myself again and resuscitate that zeal this year.

Language

German can be hard especially with the articles and rules, no present participle etc. I learnt a lot in the past year and would continue learning. Los geht's!

Travelling

This was one thing I really spent much time doing in the past year; I explored many cities and 5 countries - Denmark, Norway, Sweden, United Kingdom and Czech Republic. Travelling helps you view life through the lens of different people; I met both friendly and reserved people during my escapade.

What's Next?

The year has presented a clean slate and I don't know what God has in stock for me in this new year. I pray that the chapters of my year bring more reasons to be joyful.

I hope for an exciting 2023 - being in God's will, exploring more and living my best life.

Cheers to the new year 🥂✨🚀
